Sea trout was even less expected but a perfect condition 4lb sea trout, also flying C, my first sea trout. Mick, the ghillie, was very professional and helpful.

Poor weather conditions with intermittent heavy rain and a gusty wind. Water slightly coloured. Very little fly life evident and only an occasional fish seen rising. Tried a variety of traditional wet flies and nymphs and hooked but lost one fish in the central part of the beat. However, a very nice stretch of river which I hope to return to in better weather.
