We were a bit concerned about the weather before we started but apart from 2 brief showers the brolley was packed dry at the end of the day. The fishery was alive with Chub in the 1-2lb bracket that we caught mostly on float to make an entertaining day. One Barbel of 6.14 . Lost a bit of tackle in the underwater snags. Beautiful setting and parking behind your swim but I wouldn’t attempt the driving track unless you have a 4 x4 otherwise you might get stuck

Water high but dropping. Thought it would be better than it was. Even so 4 fish. good looking water, one v. good looking pool. Will try again
