Little surface activity, water very clear after recent rise so levels good.
One on dry fly, 2 on French leader in faster runs.

2 small chub between 3 of us, was not a good start to the season ,the river was very Coloured but not that high, however it was nice to be on the river.also when I got home I realized i was missing a reel ,it's shimano 4000 baitrunner .I was fishing the last swim on the top beat.if anyone finds in maybe you could contact the wuf.Thanks

Great place to be for the glorious 16th.
2nd visit to Wye, much more water this time.
Fishing once more excellent, took a while to get going but plenty of chub, mostly 3lb or over, best 3-14 and a 4-14 barbel.

Considerable amount of juvenile fish and also lots of fry in the margins. Think it was a grayling I hooked and lost
