13lb fresh fish caught at 7.40am
Nyth and Tyr Celyn total for June is 9.

Thank you for respecting my wish not to have my name listed for any catches. Fishing to me is a very personal connection with the natural world and the last thing I seek is personal attention / publicity for my catches. I just think your reports encourage others to believe that they might catch something!

No salmon seen or caught.Very little trout activity either.

The river looked to be absolutely perfect in height and colour. But what do I know? Not a sign of a fish anywhere. My quest for a Wye salmon continues.

Conditions good. Fished all day early until dark . No fish seen or felt.
Pretty dispiriting- but that's Salmon fishing for you.

No fish during the day but 5 trout between 6 and 9inches to dry olives and 1 on partridge and orange between 7 and 9pm. None were taken obviously.

Total blank I'm afraid but did get one pull but suspect that may have been trout. Marginally better than looking at the cocoa rushing by around the Ross area.

Another great Wye day. Arrived to find the river 4 foot up and coloured but dropping.
Fished pellet/feeder and caught consistently throughout the day ending with 30 fish between us to 10lbs 1oz.

No salmon but caught 2 trout whilst fishing for salmon on a size 10 stoats tail. Trout returned.

Caught 3 barbel, all on pellets, with the river in lovely condition.
The Foundation's service was excellent, thank you.

I arrived late and only fished the lower sections for a couple of hours. The odd fish was rising but I fished nymphs catching 9 fish but all tiddlers.
