Very bright and hot so not ideal. Below the bridge was difficult due to dogs in the pools, canoes and people swimming. Very frustrating when you pay good money.

Bright sunshine and low water made for pleasant but difficult day. 2 fish were connected with at Maddox, one of which broke off so not sure if caught on a rock or similar. Neither fish seen. A third was also connected with at The Corner Tree and again not seen. A great day however guided by Chris Price.

As we had fished this beat many times I didn't download the latest map so when we arrived we found that the Vanstone pool is now Salmon only which disappointed no end. Did manage 2 barbel. River very low and was a scorcher.
WUF note - It is essential that anglers consult their beat maps each time they book as occassionally boundaries and beat limits can change.

Awesome day on the Wye considering the bright hot conditions. My friend had never caught a barbel or chub before and that didn't last long! 8lb was the biggest fish of the day with lots of 6's and 7's. All taken on pellet or boiies.

Great venue, well worth the £5 return taxi to the fishery. Its a walk! 8 barbel and 6 chub all caught on halibut and feeders. The water levels are very low and the sun was a nightmare. Most catches came in the morning and late evening. Best looking fishery we have fished and we have fished plenty of Wye and Usk Foundation.

A fantastic days fishing in hot and sunny conditions. Fish caught throughout the day despite the low clear water and heat. Barbel were between 4 and 8 pounds. Cannot wait to come back.

Lovely day, x6 grayling to 2.5lbs and 5 trout to just over a pound. Whilst playing a nice sized grayling, an otter, also took the fish and left me with the head!
