First time on the Arrow and won't be the last. Arrived at 7.30, possibly a bit too late. As i saw no fish after about 10 o'clock Parked up at the lower bridge and worked my way up to the first weir Though I didn't manage to land a fish, released 3 at distance and had 5 takes. The Arrow fish seem faster than those I'm used to. All on a 16 Parachute Adams. I think I may have missed out by not trying a nymph in the deeper runs.
Not knowing the beat I was struggling to get to the water above the weir.
I followed a rough path from the weir pool(right bank) which put me on a road which led up to the back of the tukey farm. The path seemed to go through some sort of effluent release point into the river, over some metal grating. Just as i was at the end of the grating it gave way and dumped me into the filthy water underneath. Not deep and no serious harm done but might have turned out different. I tried to replace grating but was unable.
A lovely beat, up to the weir, access higher up is an issue with a large log jam just above where the brook comes in on the left bank.
Booking Office Note: Thank you for letting us know about the log jam, and sorry you had issues on the grating! We will investigate further on both counts.

3 perch caught. Didn’t see any Trout all day. Massive issue with families with dogs off leads in the water. Talking to other anglers all experienced issues with families using the water for recreation purposes Paying no attention to people fishing. May be a better option in the colder months keeping people and dogs out of the water but don’t think I’ll rush back.
