With low water only one fishable swim in the Meadow. Settled into the wooded area. Plenty of weed coming through. Heavy rains made fishing difficult. Not fishing like we know it to in the past. Two anglers, 1 barbel apiece. That's how is is sometimes.

Heavy showers-river level quite low and clear-couldn't entice barbel to feed but 4 good chub provided some consolation.

River was very low. Weather was dreadful, heavy rain all day which made it hard going. Used standard feeder tactics which have always served well, despite tweeks to the method, no fish today.

Ventured into the woods, river very low but didn't seem to affect the fishing, caught steadily from 8am to 3pm when torrential rain stopped play.!
