If any springers did get up here on the recent high water, they didn’t want any of the copper and brass tubes that I put in front of them .The trout were a bonus though, both quality fish of 15” and 16” that took a small Red Devil tube, both returned.
River fining down nicely now , not as cold and wet as forecast and a pleasant day .

Great day fishing swims in the first field below the woods. Rotated between pepperami, spam and pellets with the former doing best on the day. Both Barbel ca. 7-8lb caught in the last swim by the gate into the second field. One at 10am and the other as dusk fell. The Chub were all in a swim closer to the woods. Thanks Wye and Usk and the landowners.
