Due to the hot weather I arrived after lunch river was low and clear . Was fishing with my Two boys all sharing the 1 rod . Would be nice if they did more child options as the do on Witney beat . We had a cracking day and managed 8 barbel biggest 9lb 6oz and some really good chub biggest around 5lb all fell to a mix of feeder and float action with pellet and meat working best . Lovely beat only downside is hill and the end of the day ????

Overgrown banks with no access to river. Dangerous for anglers to get to waterside. Considering the charge of £50 for 1 adult and 1 child is utterly shameful. The whole stretch is dangerous to negotiate

Scorching hot during the day, fortunately this side of the river is in the shade for most of the day. Roving tactics proved to be the order of the day, then feeding up for early evening. Very pleased with our catch of 5 barbel , 7 chub and 2 eels.
