Very challenging with over grown entry points but once in wading is not so bad but you have to exit every no and again which means fight your way out or back track , having said that its so close to home for me so a go to place , all the trout taken on a dry Adams 14

Tried both dry fly and sinking nymph , too little water didn't see any rises , no fish seen ,walked the extent of the beat ,not enough water , no apparent fish . Fished from 08.00 to 2pm gave up , we need rain to replenish the water levels .

Hot day, low water, a lot of midges, not much hatching, and only a few rises. Fished entire beat, 9 Usk beauties, all on Nymphs.

A lovely beat, I can see how it is best in low river conditions, like now, will definitely be back.

My first time fishing this beat so I’m unsure of the usual level but the water was gin clear and trout were showing on the surface most of the morning. They were spooking very quickly so a long leader is what I would recommend and is what worked for me. By 11:00 it had become too hot and all action had died off. I look forward to fishing this scenic beat again
