Lovely day but low clear water required delicate presentation. Picked off a couple of fish in the faster water. Fish were choosy.

Great fighting 3lb Brownie. On the duo - took the spider under the dry.

Rhosrhydd - 2 Brown Trout returned - between 1lb and 1.5lb. Hard conditions - hot, bright and easterly wind.

Tough fishing in very bright conditions - 8 trout to 3/4lb taken on a mix of nymph/spiders across and down and dry dropper.

Another 12 hours with no catch ahhhhh

Arrived late on the river at 2pm but fish were rising here and there. Fished dries only and had good fishing including a 2 and 3 pounder. Most fish were feeding on midge but there were also small numbers of Yellow Mays, Brook Duns and Mayflies but very few olives.
