Blustery day but a decent March brown hatch started at around 2pm which brought some fish to the surface. 4 fish on dries, all around the 2lb mark and in great condition. A few grannom about too.

Another day working hard through the beat, no sign of any salmon, only 2 x trout that decided to take a Temple Dog fly.

Great days fishing especially for early season. Plenty of action and quite a few fish lost most fish caught on nymphs throughout the morning up to midday. The hatch came on around noon and Fish started to rise caught a further 10 fish on a march brown pattern

First time out this season and still a bit cold with river level still quite high. Fished the bottom end back to the junction pool between 11 and 2. Duo with all on the nymph.

2 fish caught about 1.5 lb and released alive and safe great day out thank you usk reservoir

Afternoon session produced 2 common carp from main lake both low doubles

much like the crai but a bit deeper and just the right amount of colour , olives of after lunch and with a gold bead grhe taken in the white water were it drops into a basin ,
