Approximately ½ mile of mostly single right bank, main river Usk fishing, a couple of miles downstream of Brecon. This beat is a merger of the Glanusk Tymawr and Canal & Rivers Trust waters, available to book from Monday to Thursday.

The combined fishery offers salmon anglers some excellent opportunities. The whole beat offers fantastic trout fishing, containing a variety of water from dry fly flats to faster pocket water.

The wading is moderately difficult and chest waders are required to fully cover the water. Stud/felt soles are necessary. Parking is next to the river, but when wet is a short (150m) walk.

From 1st May, half price evening tickets can be purchased after 1pm on the day of fishing. Fishing is allowed from 5pm.
