The fishing here is truly outstanding, with the free-rising wild brown trout rivalling any to be had elsewhere within these islands. Cwellyn is a relatively large lake of around 220 acres and designated a Special Area of Conservation. Because of its depth, it supports one of Britain’s few populations of Arctic char.
Purchasing a ticket for this section also allows you to fish any of the SGLL Fishing Society beats. Maps for all are provided on booking.
