River low and very clear. Difficult day with only 2 barbel and 1 chub between the 4 of us.
Huge amount of salmon activity. They were crashing out of the water every few minutes all day long including a very impressive orange coloured fish which was easily topping 20lbs.

Fished from first light, weather bit wet. Started off fishing the cable crib pool no joy so moved round to the pot pool 10ish no joy either but notice lots of slugs so put one on a 4 size hook and had a take but lost it then went down to the bottom of the island and free line slug and took maybe 25 plus chub from the far bank not Barbel but what a mornings fishing. Took 3 Barbel and 2 chub from same place in the evening.

4 days booked on Courtfield & Wyebank [2 days on each]. Fished short sessions due to family committments but had a great time. Weather was fantastic - not ideal for fishing but the river and valley looked magnificent. Some nice Chub and plenty of Barbel - all on pellett.

Fished 3.00pm - 9.00pm, caught 5 Chub and 2 Barbel (5lb 1oz and a baby of about 2lb), both trotting and static ledgering. Water low and clear; I was glad I brought the waders as this opened up a lot more of the water to me. Attractive beat, not many canoes but lots of swans.

Fishing:Salmon
No. of Anglers:1
Very low water, hot and really bright conditions. Ashamed to say hooked and lost a salmon on a tiny stoat's tail. Having come unstuck the fish did an ariel dance all over the pool, to the victor the spoils. Plenty of fish showing including three bright newcomers. Venue terrific, angler failed, must try harder.

Beat:Abernant
Fishing:All Species (in season)
No. of Anglers:2
River very low and exceptionally clear. Cloudy, warm with upstream breeeze. Fished 2pm until 7pm and caught 9 grayling and 7 WBT to various small dry flies/CDC's. Targeting fish more successful than fishing 'blind'. Some fly in evidence and odd sipping fish.
Lovely day and a pleasure to fish this most attractive beat
