River very low. Barely 2 viable swims. Maybe more options if river level a couple of feet higher. Very limited beat for 2 anglers. Ideally should be only one. Pellet feeder method used.

Arrived to find a quite substantial hatch of Ldo's, Blues and some Sedge breaking off from the puddles that was the left bank fishing. Then it rained. I didn't fish the right bank. Blank.

5 reasonably sized WBT caught on gold head PTN and hare's ear. Fish rising in early evening despite heavy rain. Hooked several fish on CDC olives but did not get any in the net.
All fish returned in good condition.

The river remained stubbornly low despite heavy rain in the previous few days and it was clear that some swims had taken a hammering judging by the muddy banks. We avoided those and by moving a few times on the middle section, we had enjoyable sport with 7 barbel to 7lb 3oz and 10 chub banked on pellet and feeder. Persistent rain came on in the afternoon and we finished at 7.00pm, damp but happy.

Still very low despite some rain of the previous day and night. Managed to tempt a couple of fish but only fished for an hour in the end. Still a magic place to go fishing.

The river looked very promising with a good steady section of running water although very clear. We started relatively late in the morning with overcast weather which deteriorated into prolonged heavy rain early afternoon which obviously caused the river to rise. We caught 3 small barbel. Thanks to Don for his advice.

Three trout, best of which was a surprise 14". Also lost a much bigger fish above the weir to an inexplicable hook pull, think it was a chub.
