Blanked ! Some LDOs, one or two March browns but nothing rising. Tried nymphs, spiders and sculpins but nothing interested. Bright and sunny and a strong north easterly. Lovely beat with a lot of interesting water. Access and wading is easy in the top half and not too difficult in the bottom half - but water levels were quite low (around .6m on the Trallong gauge). Had a much better day further downstream yeterday in similar conditions.

Bright breezy day that made the fishing today pretty difficult. Water was in perfect condition. Only a couple of 12/13" fish today one on a nymph and the other to an Usk naylor wet fly, the only fish I saw rising all day. Sporadic hatch around lunch time, but the easterly wind and bright sun kept the fish down.

Bright sunny day; although it was quite warm and river level was pretty good, I did not see any fish raising. I have fished all the day with nymphs, and I manage to catch a very big grayling (18 inches!!), 3 small brown trouts. A salmon was also spotted in the first pool of the beat! Lovely part of the river, I will definitely come back!

Out for the 1st time this season. Very high water which put most of the pools out of commission.

1 brown trout - returned. Strong NE blowing so challenging conditions. Found a few spots to get in the lee and then the sun was very warm.
