Water clearing but appears to be holding its height. Top half of beat is now ploughed fully and there is no viable walkway to the top pools. Certainly no thought to aged fishers or those with any disability. A few heavily coloured fish showing but no takers for us.

First visit to the Wye for barbel. Fished the single tree swim half way down the meadow with pellets and pva. Started off with a nice chub of 4lb 8oz followed by 4 barbel. Two around the 5lb mark, one of 7lb 12oz and the biggest 8lb. A very enjoyable day.
