3 anglers fished.
Great days fishing in not ideal weather (very sunny).
Chub came pretty consistently & barbel at the start and end of the day.
It’s a shame there’s not more of the bank thats been maintained to be fishable.

5 Barbel, 40 Chub

Area:Reservoirs

Beat:Talybont Reservoir

Fishing:Trout (Stillwater)

No. of Anglers:1

Although a bright and very warm day there was a very strong Southerly wind blowing the length of the reservoir with big waves and ‘white horses’.This was consistent all day. On the West Bank this resulted in silt in suspension in the water at least 20 yards out from the bank for the entire length of the bank.On the northern section of the east bank the silt in the water was only marginally narrower. Nothing showing - no touches with either floating and sinking line with long casts out into clear water. Nil return.

Stinking hot day so wasn't expecting to catch until sun was off the water but was surprised by an early Barbel at around 1pm
Occasional Chub though to Sunset
Others were Eels, one on Pellet on on Meat
