Some midge and sedge and little wind in the morning but no rising fish. A few risies in lulls in the wind in the afternoon. Fished bugs and found trout and grayling in faster, shallower water towards the heads of pools. Trout and grayling to 15", ~1.75lb, on bugs and later on HE emerger. Lost a big trout when the point bug hooked up on a rock and the dropper broke - totally gutted but I know where it lives!

No fish but only a very short evening session. Sporadic hatch but seems to intensify after I had packed up (as ever). Rose one very substantial fish on an emerger. Will be back and next time will fish until it is truly dark!
