Lost 2 decent trout at the bank in the firts 10 mins then no bites for the other 4hrs i was there, water is really low at the moment. Not sure if that is why the fishing is so slow at the moment

We struggled today, couldn’t find the barbel, although we didn’t fish into the evening. 6 Chub to 1 rod caught in both the slow and faster water swims.

Fairly tough conditions, River was quite low. Fished from 6am through to 5pm. Tried all the usual approaches and kept mobile. Perhaps should have started at the island pool as it wasn't fishable when the canoe traffic started and was the only section with any real pace. Caught some nice chub but no barbel this time.
