Beautiful stretch of secluded water, river very low, cool and breezy, in contrast to yesterdays perfect conditions, despite this sporadic olive hatches and occasional rising fish. WBT 8" to 15" on grey duster and PTNs, one very large fish lost (typical). All returned. Not an easy beat to access/fish but suits those who like things a little more adventurous, set in lovely woodland.

Super fishing! Pool after pool of eager trout, and of an excellent average size. I only had time for the first 600 yds, but still bagged fourteen, all on dries.
