Reasonable weather in Dalgarrog, but up on the mountain- torrential rain and wind so strong it was difficult standing let alone cast a line. Waited for change in weather all day but it got worse so went home.

A low river combined with very strong winds blowing directly upstream made for difficult fishing conditions, fortunately the chub were quite obliging and fed in spells throughout the day. The majority of the chub were around 3-3.5lb mark with a couple of chublets, all caught on pellet, unfortunately there was no sign of the barbel.
