Had a good day but the was work being carried out on the opposite side of the bank, I'm amazed I caught considering the work being carried out chainsaw hammering away.
I continued to make progress on the stick float all 9 chub where caught on the meat, plenty of pellets and hemp but no barbel, the was a few signs of them flashing in the water!
sun come out and killed it.
I'll be back to have another venture soon.

Arrived on the beat at 15:00 to be greeted by 2 canoes paddling the length of the beat. They thought they were on the Brecon Canal! Picture sent separately to WUF.
Any rain which may have fallen on the Beacons has had no impact on water levels. Some olives and occasional sedges hatching from around 17:00 but only intermittent interest from fish.
