Another sunny warm afternoon but still decent flow on the Arrow.
Access terrible head high nettles and steep banks not good for expensive waders.
There is fishable water for the more adventurous and some nice trout.
No fly life seen on the water apart from the gnats but plenty of mayfly over the meadows on the way back to the car.
Will try and return one evening for the spinner fall.

Maize beck too low to fish but good water in the upper Tees being discharged from Cow Green, so excellent sport with too many trout to count! (All safely returned)

5 small wbt caught and released. two on dry, rest on nymphs. River very low but great evening. 4Pm till 8pm.

Much enjoyed despite no sign of trout anywhere. Kingfishers made up for it.
