Quite challenging conditions but pleased that I managed a couple of small carp on the float

As mentioned previosly arrived to the parade of dead sheep along the path to the boat house - A day of rain and wind could only fish for a couple of hours managed 8 WBT to small black wet flies bibio's etc. I had to leave early just as wind stopped and Bugeilyn was like a sheet of glass dotted with rising fish a stunning view,

Just finished the evening, huge downpour, got soaked, stuck it out but to no avail. Beat looked promising and some doubles had been caught recently so will return. Very steep banks and tricky to negotiate, so not for everybody.

Caught on a large Willie Gunn tube. Approx 10-12lbs. Been in the river for about a month. Bottom end of Dolmeudwy
