Easy access and parking, and easy walk. However, hard work finding a swim the banks along the field have a wire fence and are over grown an although there is accessible pegs on the upper beat the trees where so overgrown as to make thing difficult.
Just needs some effort to make it fantastic

2 of us fished from dawn to dusk. Very low and tough conditions. One barbel on feeder and pellets and one trotting on stick float. Due to the low river levels all the swims at the top of the fishery were impossible to fish.
These swims have been cleared back but the shear drop to the river made them impossible to land a fish. Therefore only a couple of swims in the middle reaches to fish.

First visit to the Wye. Bite first cast was a lovely chub about 3lb. Followed by 3 more smaller chub. Then the place went dead. Loads of canoeists and very ignorant dog walkers
Ruined what started a very lovely day

The fish just didn't seem to be biting, although it was a very hot day. Did catch a Twait Shad though that I was very excited about (which was safely returned).

No fish caught as the river was fairly high & difficult to judge. Very enjoyable day though in fantastic surroundings.
