lovely beat to fish , water was up a tad and pushing quite hard in places. I have not fished penpont before and loved it , its got it all. very minimal fly a few march browns and ldo's but that was it, all trout of a decent size fell for Czech nymphs. a few lost and snapped by a belter.

Bad day to be out there with extreme weather, got there late to check it out and only casted a few times because the water was totally brown and blown out.... oh well

Bright sunny day very little wind. Started fishing at midday and Fished until five.Hatch of pale wateries on arrival which seemed to continue throughout the day so there were a few rises. Saw only one large fish move the rest seemed to be small. Cast to rising fish with a variety of dry flies. Fish caught were between 10 and 13 inches. Great day out in beautiful surroundings.

One very colored 6lb cock fish ,put back, water low but a few fish moving, the problem with this beat is swimmers at the big house and at camp site,best left till after first week in Sept , lots of good Trout moving
