Beautiful setting, well maintained cut out swims and fairly easy access to the length of the beat from the middle car park.
Probably my favourite beat on the Wye. Despite assistance from the ever helpful bailiff, a day of no fish.
Water levels low and water temperature hot and despite trying both slow and faster water at different times, using all methods and baits, no interest from the fish.
Will definitely return next year.

Had a look from Foy Bridge on way to beat and was pleased to see a shoal of 12 barbel feeding, all about the 12ozs, good for the future!

Great day on a beautiful beat. Hard graft for 6 chub in the sunshine. Lost a couple of monsters - maybe barbel but both hook pulled. Best results just downstream of the treeline parking. Meat or cheese. Well worth a visit!
