4 anglers fished. 7 barbel to 9.12 and 7 chub to just under 4lb.

River up around 4ft but perfectly fishable. 5 chub to 4.6. 4 anglers fished from 2pm onwards.

The river was high and unfishable in many places. We managed to find a few pegs and caught 3 barbel. Two of the fish were over 9lbs. Pellet and feeder was the successful method

High water level made fishing difficult

All caught early, the river was in flood and kept rising until I called it a day at 2:30pm. Best Barbel was 7lb 10oz.

Water running fast but some big Barbel and a couple of Chub on the ledger. Great day.

Fished lower end of the beat, middle section only had one swim and did not get to upper section. River very low roving tactics produced 4 barbel to 9lb 3 chub and 1 good perch from the mill pool

A few things notched off the bucket list today, fishing the Wye, catching a Barbel and catching a good sized Chubb. Fantastic epic venue.

Some pretty poor angling led to 3 fish being lost to snapped hook links!!! but rewarded with a gorgeous 8lber to brighten my spirits
