Another difficult day with the river over 4 metres high and rising. The river was only 18 inches below the very top of the bank. Only one real swim to fish at the very end of the stretch on the road side. The opposite bank was too exposed to the elements of storm Gareth with extremely high winds. Only fished for around 1.5 hours due to fast rising river.
Only one chub between us of around 2lbs caught on flavour soaked boile.

Fished the right bank, wrong choice I think. Blanked but a fabulous afternoon watching the world go by.

Very cold day with strong winds, river was high and coloured following recent heavy rain, fished for 5 hours on variety of methods and baits all to no avail.

Afternoon session with conditions appearing perfect...unfortunately no-one told Mr Fish...! Fished 3 swims without a sniff..

No fish caught today. We used maggot feeders and ground bait feeders. River was fast and 3ozs feeders were washed downstream, unfortunately I didn’t have anything heavier so had to fish in the slack water close in.
