6 Chub

River running low and clear. All fish on pellet.

1 Barbel, 12 Chub

All 5 Chub caught ledgering. All caught on peperami or meaty pellets. Rained all morning river still clear but rising slightly.
First time coarse river fishing for both anglers. Very enjoyable day.

5 Chub

Took advantage of the discounted evening session after spending the morning on a different stretch during the heavy rain. Managed 4 chub on pellets and feeder at the bottom end of the beat.

4 Chub

Extremely hot day and the fishing was hard going. Managed a chub in the morning and one early evening. Fished all the swims on the left bank and a couple on the right, but the fish were elusive today. Used feeder and pellets.

2 Chub

First time on this beautiful beat. Boiling hot so was hard going but we found chub in the deeper water and some in the faster water. We will be back

A very hot and cloudless day! River quite low and clear. Lots of chub under the bridge but hard going until the evening. Five chub on ledgered meat mid flow and one trotting bread. One large eel.

Bright & hot all day. Bites hard to come by. Lot of baiting & changing swims.

Lovely, well kept beat but struggled to locate any real features to work with. Tried various methods, trotting, feeder and straight lead with pellet. All fish caught were on the feeder and pellet.
