Perch all day. Could see plenty of trout throughout the day but were just turning when approaching the fly

Caught on fly, easterly wind, sunny day. 6 nice trout.

used worm caught one Rainbow trout 620g, good clean fish, just before 1100, had a few bites between then and leaving at 1530.
noise from canoeists and paddleboarders between 1100 and 1230 although they did keep a good distance from anglers

Wasted £37 not a bite didn't even see a fish rising the reservoir was dead

1 bite, 1 trout Caught, caught around 8.30 then was dull all day after, bit of a windy day with cloud and sun at certain times of the day, noticed on arrival that there were campers parked down in the west corner with a lit fire so there was no room for fishermen in that corner, clearly night fishing

Fished trout "fly only" and walked down the far end of the reservoir without any success despite starting quite early. walked back to dam end by the ticket machine and fished all along that bank, but again no luck - I have a theory that if the wind is blowing into the dam then the trout don't seem to take fly. However, I've always had better luck when the wind is blowing the other way. Another blank day, but the weather was nice.

For the first time at the reservoir I saw no sign of fish activity all day
