Had a lovely day fishing for salmon on the fly but unfortunately, I did not see or catch anything ( the sun was too bright is my excuse). Nevertheless I learned a lot about the river at that particular height.

River too high to fish well trout landed and one lost . I wont book this stretch too far ahead again . It was a 500 mile round trip wasted . I wish it had been cancelled as a wash off

Had one take that didn't hold in the Bachawy Poll when fishing from the Top Planks. I didn't cover all the beat and hope to return soon.

Washed off river in full flood

Slightly high water but quite clear. No Salmon seen, conditions average - drizzle and cool. 2 trout mis-caught upstream of waterfall on black/white conehead and 1 near suspension bridge. Nice beat, will return with hopefully more sucess
