Plenty of water in river but summer conditions have made fishing difficult. Lots of light tugs but just 4 fish by end of day. One of 14” on a klinkhammer. Fish were really starting to rise above the bridge around 8 pm but I had to go!

Baking hot day. Managed 1 in the pool below the bridge, otherwise blank. No wind, very clear water. Moved a few fish that we down deep in the channels but sadly didn't connect.
Lovely long beat with plenty of variety and will return.

Little surface activity, water very clear after recent rise so levels good.

Beautiful day. Water cleared after recent spate, not much fly hatching but enough rising to keep it interesting. 5 to Adams styles dries and 3 to French leader in fast water below bridge.
All 8-10 inches. Larger fish elusive!
