Highly productive evening and night's fishing - arrived at the chosen pool early and passed the time swinging nymphs and spiders for 10 small-medium sized trout and grayling switching to bigger flies on Polyleaders at dark. 1 sea trout at 10:30pm and another at 2am with a bigger grayling on a medicine in-between. Lots of plucks and pulls, another 2 sea trout lost.

Trotting the worm on the Golf course beat for a couple of hours. Water was quite high and fast. 2 good sized grayling (lost another) and a good out of season brownie. All returned. Lovely surroundings, fantastic fishing. As good as it gets!
