River was coming down off a very high week (according to the locals :) but was fishable. Spent the better part of my two hours out trying to figure out where I could wade without dying! Very slick to wade, but managed two small brownies on some sort of jigged Czech nymph pattern.

2 Trout

THis was the first time that we had visited the water and were so impressed by the setting , the countryside and the river. We fished the section from Pendre to the Horshoe falls, wading in the morning from the south bank and the from the bank in the afternoon on the northside. We had no interest although we did see an amount of activity. We are plainly not doing something right. Great day though thoroughly reccommended.

5 Trout, 10 Grayling

Good day saw quite a few fish rising mid morning, most caught on a double badger. finished around lunchtime as the wind was picking up. fished the Sun Trevor beat.

Very nice river to fish. Used mainly french nymph tactics with peeping caddis on the point and florescent orange bead GRHE on the dropper. Most fish were caught in fast - ish cobbled bottom runs in water depths of 1-1.5m and at reach (not right under the rod tip). The best times to fish were first light up to around 0900 and then after 1500
All of the fish were under a pound and I had a lot of double hook ups

Hot bright sunny day, only saw a few fish rising all day. Both fish taken on PTN.

20 Trout, 1 Sea Trout, 6 Grayling

Very windy. Produced it own difficulty fish came on to a Adams/ PTN on the retrieve. Saw 2 mink (maybe same one?).

Arrived on beat mid-day - Difficult conditions and all small trout came to Gnant size 18.
