Good day - fish cooperated, We used two methods - with the baskets and pebble both - they both worked well.We used pellets and boili. In the afternoon the water level began to rise and the river was carrying a lot of natural sediment which made it a little difficult to fish.

My mate and I love this beat and today, we both had good days. Using feeder tactics and either 14mm Pellet or two 8mm Cheesy Garlic Pellets we had some nice fish with most of the Barbel weighing in around 8 - 9lb. A great day to finish with and yes, we will be back!

Fantastic day, barbel clearly wanted to feed. Fished 3 swims in all during the day, nearly all of the fish came after the first swim change then steadily throughout the rest of the day.
Ledgered pellets or 12mm boilees for hook bait with pellets in a PVA bag was the successful method. Best barbel was 8lb 2oz.
River in good condition, steady flow with not too much debris coming through.

What a beautiful fishery and river, I love this part of the world! However, it was a bit of a tough day, but we managed to grab a few using feeder tactics and either 14mm Pellet on the hook or two 8mm Cheesy Garlic Pellets.
