River still running quite low. A good hatch of Olives with Grayling rising. Six Grayling brought to the net. Black Spider and GRHE. Great beat!

Fished from 8 until midday, started long line nymphing and picked up a few grayling in the deeper pools then fish started rising so I switched to a dry fly and had a lot of fun sight fishing to targeted fish in the low clear water. The trout seem to have gone into hiding.

Only had about three hours today but three Grayling took a small Hair's Ear Nymph. Beat was very low despite the recent rain. I didn't try below the bridge as I ran out of time.

Similar amount of fish as on yesterday’s beat but smaller sizes. Was very difficult fishing this beat, poor access and the house had a large family there canoing through the river at lunchtime.
Wasn’t impressed to be honest but managed some fish
