A lovely autumn fishing day, the river was a nice height and colour. Couldn't keep the out of season trout off, did manage to catch a couple of 3/4lb grayling and lost a couple more. All on nymphs of various size and weight.

Not an easy days fishing, the grayling hard to find and had a habit of releasing themselves too early! All fish 1/2lb or under. A bit of tree trimming in places wouldn't go amiss but still a delightful bit of river to fish.

Good day on the Lugg fishing EuroNymph method. All fish taken in the deeper pools and even had a double hook up on on one of the runs. Rained from the start but it did not put off the fish. Very pleased
