We decided to float fish until about 4pm, and this was the method that produced most of the fish, mostly chub and dace with the chub going to just under 6lb, lost count of the fish!! Then after 4 we got the feeder rods out and had a nice run of barbel and chub, with the biggest barbel being just over 9lb, a fantastic days fishing!

4 barbel landed and one lost. Different swims producing this time to last trip in august. Heavy feeding seemed the way forward

4 Barbel, 1 Chub

4 barbel to 7lb , chub 4lb and lots of small ones. Most to groundbait feeder and pellet, also straight lead.river fairly low..but nice colour. ????wouldn't want to drive down to spot in rain,4x4 needed. If dry ok just.nice stretch of water.

4 Barbel, 5 Chub

One pike of 12lb and a chub of 5lb caught on luncheon meat and chub of 4.5 lb caught on pellet.

River still up a little but lowering slowly today. Lovely weather ,probably too sunny .
Lovely barbel just under 10lb and three chub today . Barbel was caught on cheesy garlic 14mm pellet.

River looked very good and a few barbel came to the net including a PB of 11-7. Went home a very happy angler

Unfortunately caught nothing
