A warm and sunny day. I only fished in the afternoon. Not much activity, managed to catch one brown trout on wer fly. Lots of willow blossoms on the water made fishing difficult.

Nice, sunny evening with trout rising in the flat water. Couldn't interest them, thought. But I did get three in running water on nymphs, including two at nearly 2lb.

Whilst there appeared to be a fairly large number of flies hatching, and on the surface of the river, few fish were rising to them. i noted one fairly large salmon leaping out of the water - probably 6lb+ - and a couple of decent size trout, but otherwise, not much at al. Enjoyable day nevertheless.
