Failed to catch any carp last week on the float so gave the method feeder a go. Managed one decent common carp of about 8lbs. Nice to have the lake to yourself and the wildlife.

Changeable weather conditions today probably affected the fishing...started as a sunny calm day and by mid afternoon quite a cold breeze with rain...after only one run on legered boilie which didn't hook I decided to call it a day ..will return in the spring...nice to see the wild flowers growing along the bank again after being cut at beginning season...still plenty of spots to fish from
