River very low. 14 chub caught from 4 oz. to 4lb caught on meat with stickfloat. Thankyou for a nice day of fishing in unspoilt quiet countryside. Hopefully I will try another stretch next year.

Fortunately cloud arrived in the afternoon and the fish seemed to come out of hiding. biggest chub were 4lb 14oz and 5lb
3 barbel were also caught 6lb 6oz, 9lb 4oz and 10lb 8oz in the slower deeper swims.

Although difficult fishing conditions, bright sun and low water 12 chub were caught biggest 4lb 10oz

Lovely stretch of river in an incredible setting.
Hard work to find the fish but once I did I caught consistently.
Constant trickle of feed seemed to work well.
Access to river was excellent with parking behind your swims.
